The "El Colorado" region, within the department of Canelones, is one of the oldest wine-producing areas, located 30km from the city of Montevideo. The landscape, shaped by hills to the north and the El Colorado Stream to the south. The vineyards are situated on the middle and upper parts of the convex slopes.

CLIMATE: The climate is temperate, warm, and relatively humid, which favors the production of aged wines. Throughout the day and night, a wide thermal amplitude is generated, favoring a balance in grape ripening.

MARITIME INFLUENCE: The winery's vineyards constantly receive the influence of the Atlantic Ocean. Sea breezes moderate temperatures, especially during the summer, allowing us to obtain fresh, aromatic wines with very good natural acidity.

SOILS: "Wine-growing soils" of the vertisol type are found, with high clay content and significant calcareous content. The soils are well-drained and biologically very active.

FLORA AND FAUNA: The environment has a very rich native flora; different species of wild trees and shrubs coexist in the vineyards, significantly contributing to the genetic biodiversity of the ecosystem.
